HeroHonda Karizma Fi - The Return of the Dangerous

HeroHonda Karizma, a long time winner of Indian bikes which has conquered the first place with its Style and Majestic appearance until Pulsar200 was released. Even after better bikes arrived it still has a name in the Hearts of Indians.

When the rivalries started increasing the company was just cool and simply upgraded the bike to minute level to meet the conflicts. Now the time has come since the International Level bikes started approaching Indian Markets. Rumours have been started that Top Heroes Bajaj, TVS and HeroHonda started preparing their new competitive Engine. Out of which TVS authority released the news about its Apahe RTR 180 menace.

Bajaj disguised Disover 150 with its old pulsar engine. So a secret lies behind.

Most astonishing rumour that came out was the HeroHonda was now preparing for its Upgraded Karizma and Going to brand it with "Fi".Specifications: Karizma R (Expected Karizma Fi)

2. Engine Type : 4 stroke SOHC Engine(same)
3. Output Power: 17bhp@7000rpm (more than 21bhp@7500rpm)
4. Engine Torque: 18nm@6000rpm(more than 20nm@6000rpm)
5. Weight: 150kgs (same)
6. Tank Capacity: 15Ltrs(16Ltrs)
7. Gear:5 speed(not confirmed)
8. Body Type: Single Cradle, Diamond(same)
9. Top Speed: 125kmph (more than 130kmph)

Other Features which are in Rumours:

1. HeroHonda is also keenly working on Digitalising its bike(upgrading current Microprocessor system)
2. Dual Discs(am not sure)
3. Digital Cockpit(If its true, Bike will have 100% success)
4. Top Speed: 145kmph(Honda CBR150R - 160kmph)
   

So I hope that the Karizma Fi will be the most dangerous answer from HEroHonda to its rivals.

Discover 150 was announced by Bajaj with the main aim of competing with the current market rivalries from Yamaha, Suzuki, TVS and HeroHonda.

Discover 150 has most of the things inherited from its ancestors. Body size is similar to Discover 135cc. Engine - Pulsar 150cc's Engine.

The newer thing added to the bike was its Style and Looks.

The Bikes is more aggressive than ever before and will catch attraction from anybody in the Roads. The styling was named as SPRINT.
Specifications of the Bike:

1. Engine Capacity : 150cc
2. Engine Type : 4 Stroke, Twin spark SOHC
3. Output Power : 14.1 bhp @8500rpm
4. Torque: 12.3nm @ 6500rpm
5. Weight : 133kgs

Pros:

1. More aggressive Body styling
2. Better Pickup and mileage - since the bike is very light and carries a small Fuel Tank
   
3. Very Less price compared to other 150 cc bikes(Expected: 61000.Rs to 62000.Rs)
4. Handling is Better than Pulsar
5. Mileage seems to be 60+ even under tough conditions.

Cons:

1. Aggressive but have a small look.
2. Top speed is 110 kmph which is very less compared to the current trend.
3. Bike becomes unstable while driving on Windy Highways.

This is actually a trailer, the main picture is still under R&D by the Bajaj.

It seems Bajaj is secretly working on its new 150cc Engine which will be the best that is going to be installed in Indian Bikes Market.

TVS after the success of the New TVS Apache RTR160Fi is now planning to release it new Apache.

The TVS Apache with an alarming 180cc with Ultimate output power to have its position int the top end bikes of Indian Market.

In the current trend, the Yamaha and Bajaj are leading the market with their Super Fast Bikes. Suzuki has joined the race So TVS has announced Menace to rock the Indian Roads.

What is Cubic Capacity?

Cubic Capacity of an engine is defined as the Volume of the Cylinder in the Engine. Generally The Cubic Capacity differs as the length of the Cylinder height differs.

When the Height of the cylinder becomes more lengthier the Piston will travel more length in a single stroke which effects in maximum output.

The Cubic Capacity concept is the same for cars and Bikes and all other Engines.

In Cars and Bigger vehicles the number of cylinders will be more, thus the over all cubic capacity will be considered.

for eg: Maruti 800 has 3 cylinders with cubic capacity of 265 to 267(approx.) which the Engine has the combined cubic capacity of 267*8=800CC.
