Pickup can be measured by the time taken by the bike to reach the average speed(of indian bikes) which is 60kmph.
Mileage can be determined by the torque of the engine, as early the maximum torque is achieved mileage will be better. Here early refers to the rpm of the bike engine rotor.
The leader in the torque will be FZ series but am sorry the broader tyres flops the pickup of the bike which again degrades the mileage as well. Mileage was recorded at 42kmpl as the best.
So the follower GS150R Leads it with excellent combination of torque, mileage and pickup.
The best pickup provided by Apache RTR160 which reaches 60kmph in just 5secs, followed by Pulsar and Hunk. Then GS150R, Dazzler and finally FZ series enters.
Am again wondering the FZ series which has best torque and optimum output power compared to rivalries has lost the game in speed and pickup too.
Its sure that SZ-X has taken all the goodies which we expect from FZ on the mileage side and R15 on performance side. However they both dont belong to the segment which is not covered by us in this post.
Following GS150R, PULSAR gains the advantage of mileage even when the torque is lesser compared to other competitors followed by Dazzler and Hunk.
CHEERS!!!
